Beast Philanthropy, the charitable arm founded by social-media phenomenon Jimmy Donaldson (better known as MrBeast), and The Rockefeller Foundation said Monday they have forged a strategic partnership aimed at combining digital reach with decades of philanthropic expertise.
The collaboration intends to leverage MrBeast’s capacity to engage young audiences worldwide alongside the Rockefeller Foundation’s 112-year history of deploying resources and technology to tackle global challenges such as hunger, health inequity, and energy access.

The groups have not finalized broader joint projects, but the Associated Press reports their early collaboration centers on addressing child labor in the cocoa industry, an issue tied to Donaldson’s Feastables brand.
The Rockefeller Foundation has been advising on that work, and both organizations plan to visit Ghana early next year to study development practices and community-led approaches.
During the announcement, Donaldson told the AP he has “spent [his] entire life making YouTube videos,” while the foundation has “spent its entire life helping people,” noting the value of learning from its experience. Foundation president Rajiv J. Shah said the partnership offers a way to reach “hundreds of millions of young people” who are traditionally harder for legacy philanthropy to engage.
The move aligns with Beast Philanthropy’s recent large-scale efforts, including cataract surgeries for 1,000 people, hearing restoration for 1,000 others, mobility procedures for 2,000 people, and clean water projects across multiple African countries that the organization says now serve about half a million people.
